Light Workers

In a recent morning meditation, I heard my brain say to me, “Ask yourself everyday: What can I do as a light worker for planet earth today?”  It felt like a message from spirit, and it brought joy to my heart. Since then, I have been practicing to follow my brain’s instructions each day.

What exactly is a “light worker”?

Well, I’m not sure if I really have the answer to that question.

In Lee Harris’ January Energy Update, he talks about the “rise of the light worker,” giving his own explanation of what the word means. He basically says everyone and anyone wanting to do good at this time – in any capacity – is a light worker. I like this definition!

For me, since I first heard this word over a decade ago, I have always just resonated with it.  Imagining people all over the earth intentionally sharing light, lit my heart up with joy.

I find my gratitude growing by the minute for all the teachers, speakers, authors, influencers. healers, meditators and just every day folk who are sharing their kind words and gestures, their love and positive messages, their compassion and understanding, their healing truths and wisdom – all which sooth the soul and brighten our lives.  I feel every one of these efforts play a part in helping this world to be a better place, and I am deeply thankful.

As a young girl, my mind was so often consumed by a darkness brought on by negative thoughts, emotions and beliefs about myself and the world I lived in.  Finally, when I was twenty-two years old, I discovered the sun shining on the other side of those storms.  For over two decades, I have been trying to nurture and grow my connection to the eternal sun in my heart – a place of deep peace, bright light and unconditional love – while simultaneously learning how to navigate my way through the weather of all those fear-based thoughts, emotions and beliefs.  In addition, I have been sharing my healing experiences with others whose path’s I’ve crossed, in attempt to make some sort of contribution to those who are also searching for the light within.  I have found when others discover the healing power inside their hearts, somehow my sun shines even brighter.

Amidst all of this, at some moment I realized that I am a light worker on this planet! I am because I choose to be one!  And I think this is the ultimate point I’d like to make on the topic: it really just comes down to a choice.  Anyone of us can choose to be a light worker at any time. There is always someone standing right nearby who is in need of our light and love.

When we see the news and the state of the world, it may appear their is a shortage of light and love at the moment, but the way it will arrive here is through the choices and actions of each one of us.  The “rise of the light worker,” the movement of the light worker, happens day to day at a grass root level.   So, I’ve decided the answer to the question, “what should I do today as a light worker on the planet?” needs to be simple! Whatever idea my brain gives me that makes my heart smile, I’m going to give it a try and see what unfolds!

I believe the movement of the light workers is so important for the earth at this time, I will be sharing more about it on Earth Management TV on Tuesday, January 16th @ 9am PT/ 12pm ET. Join me there for a livestream chat and meditation!

I’m wondering where this term “light workers” lands for you all? What does it mean to you? Please let me know in the comments!

Lastly, I can’t help but finish with posting a relevant song, one I have loved since my journey towards the light began, by the beautiful Indigo Girls (in a sing-along version I found on YouTube 🙂  Let It Be Me.

Be good. Do good. Nurture good.
Each one of us has the light of positivity. We can help remove this darkness within us and around us by choosing to be the light of hope for ourselves and those around us.

Maybe through our actions we will inspire one of the recipients of our light to rekindle hope in someone else they know.

And slowly and steadily, maybe this light of hope will spread, with rays joining hands, till them become the Sun!

It will take time. Maybe many lifetimes. But we have to do our part without worrying whether others will follow or not; whether it is working or not. Because changes happen over a period of time – slowly but surely.

Persistence and patience – two important characteristics of light workers!

I love your daily ritual, Danielle, of asking yourself “What should I do today as a light worker on the planet?” It serves as a reminder to focus one’s intention in accord with their soul’s mission. This is a practice that would serve humankind well, especially during this transformative point in our history.

Each incarnate soul has a specific mission that must be fulfilled to advance on their spiritual path, and we all originate from different dimensions. Those still walking the karmic wheel are in 3D. Others, like Lightworkers and Starseeds, originate from ‘higher’ dimensions. That’s not to imply that any one dimension is more honorable or important than another. All serve an equal purpose in the evolution of humankind and in raising Earth’s as well as our own vibration. In many ways, those functioning solely within the 3rd dimension walk a more challenging path and deserve acknowledgement for their service.

I’ve been listening to a channel on YouTube called Above & Beyond Duality. It’s helped align my perspective and continues to be affirming.
