The Art of Coexistence

This is the name of my teacher’s new book, “The Art of Coexistence,” now available for pre-order on Amazon.

I’m just wondering though…what do you think about when you hear the word coexistence?

For me, I immediately think about the opposite: co-destruction, as Ilchi Lee would call it.  I think about how much I desperately wish, at the very bottom of my heart, for humans to find the way to coexist harmoniously with each other and all life, and for the earth to thrive. Then, I think about how far away from this we so often appear to be, and how close to co-destruction it feels we are when we listen to news or even walk outside our houses and smell a sky filled with smoke, as often happens here in the Pacific Northwest at this time of the year.

It’s at that moment I can easily become overtaken with sadness, worry, fear, overwhelm….

Then, I zoom back in.  I bring my mind back from the state of the world – in, in, in – to the state of myself.  “Am I co-existing harmoniously with myself right now?” I ask.  If not, then I do the inner work needed to move myself into a space of self-acceptance, self- forgiveness, and self-love. I feel I need to first make my inner environment the harmonious world I wish to see.  From there, I look around and see where I can share this love, acceptance and gratitude with those around me. And then again, how can I expand to one more ripple, then one more ripple – to share with more people in more places and more creative ways.  Lucky for us, the internet now gives us so many chances!

So, that is coexistence to me at this moment: From my inner self, to those around me, allowing those peaceful, healing ripples to expand as far and as wide as they can.  How about you?  I’d love to hear your thoughts on coexistence and your place within it all.

And, if you’d like to listen to my teacher, Ilchi Lee, speaking on this topic, please feel free to join Brain Education TV’s YouTube Live this Tuesday, 9/27 @ 5PT

I cant help reacting to the world outside the way you stated. I actually pray for the Lord to destroy Putin! He’s worse than Hitler. China, trouble, and mid east…. on and on. I just say…. I can only change me. And do what I can on these things. Including prayer and crying out in my spirit all the time, or a lot of the time. Healing Tree is a voice and help to us all. I used to think, and this is a biggee for me, that one person, me, can’t have any impact. Consider this; Almighty God told Abraham if he could just find ONE person who was good, he would spare the whole of sodom and gommorah!. So I know, that to the most important Being and Creator… ONE SOUL< PERSON< IS worth something to effect change.!!!

Yes, we are all so important. Thank you, Vinson.

I can relate to this. I feel many others are also hardened and would rather give up than focus inward, which makes me even more sad. But I will keep trying to create hope within, it’s better than giving up.
    Thank you for addressing this.

Caught the last 20 minutes of the video. Saw where Ilchi climbed a mountain to a cave he was drawn to
    I see.

I love this part: “Am I co-existing harmoniously with myself right now?” I ask. If not, then I do the inner work needed to move myself into a space of self-acceptance, self-forgiveness, and self-love. I feel I need to first make my inner environment the harmonious world I wish to see.
