I never write about my students.
But, these days my heart seems to be filled by them.
Over the last 13 years I have traveled from Boston to Denver to Albuquerque to Santa Fe. Then to back to Albuquerque. Then to Brooklyn, and now I am in Seattle. Living in each city, I have met hundreds of students over the years and have seen a lot of healing and transformation unfold before my eyes. It is a great joy to see such things. It is the reward of the blood, sweat and tears of my life – to see human beings becoming brighter.
These days, I am feeling so grateful for all of my precious students.
This month in particular seemed to be a kind of harvest of the love I have given to so many students over the years, coming back to me in the form of small gifts. I received lots of gifts in August! Cd’s, bracelets, youtube video clips and songs, flowers, all kinds of vegetables and herbs from the garden ~ even money! And perhaps the most precious gifts of all were small texts and notes to let me know me how my students are growing and evolving in their lives from the work we have done together.
Here is one beautiful text I received from my beloved student in New Mexico who I haven’t seen for over two years. It brought tears to my eyes: “Even though I am physically bigger than you, it seems that you carried me through our time together…. you showed me a relentless undying unconditional love, one that truly healed my brokenness. I have not been the same since.”
Another text was from a girl who I Skype with in Long Island. She sent me a picture and it made me so happy:

The caption reads “Slowly replacing negative thoughts with beautiful colors and positive energy”, and the woman is washing away her anxiety with beautiful colors.
I feel my heart light up when I think of my students practicing diligently with their minds and bodies, making healthier and more positive choices and changes in their lives.
Last weekend during the Finding True Self workshop, I witnessed eight people tearing down the walls within them to awaken their Souls. It was beautiful to participate in it with them. I had a global feeling – I thought “Yes, the walls of this world must come down. This is the work that we are doing right here, inside of ourselves”.
This world will change as each and every one of us changes. That’s how important our light is.
So, my students who I have had the honor to meet and work with for the last 13 years, I am so thankful to you. You have taught me so much. I have grown because of you. I love you very much and I believe in your pure Souls.
My dearest Danielle,
We love you, and it is you who has helped us become who we want to be. The sessions with you, Charlene, Robin and Yvonne have honestly been the most wonderful days of my life so far, and I hope that there is an opportunity for another group of sessions. You helped me and believed in me during my mental/ emotional setback. You did not shun me or choose not to associate with me because of my regression. You have helped heal me. I, too, was broken but you fixed that.
You call your students precious but it is you who is precious to us. Your student in New Mexico is right. It is us who are grateful for you. You showed us an undying and unconditional love and devotion. We may not have been able to meet in the same country but even behind a computer screen, I could feel your genuine heart. I get emotional even as I write this, because I have come to see you as a Role Model and I can honestly say, deep within my soul, that I love you. Few people in the world have the qualities you do. As a dearly departed friend of mine once said about me, I can now say to you. “You are friendly and kind, like a soul sister. Never change who you are. Don’t please anyone but yourself. You are one of a kind, a rare gem that you don’t see every day.” You are a an amazing and talented Master and Healer and I honor you and cherish you as my mentor and friend.
Love and Life Particles to you, Danielle Nim <3
Dear Taya, thank you so much for your lovely comment. It came at a perfect moment 🙂 I am so happy to hear from you, and to hear that you are doing well and that you received such benefit from our class. You are a very kind Soul! I am sending love & life particles back to you*
Thank you for choosing to help others. You help students heal and grow. I am out of the regressive state but I know that if/when it happens again, who to turn to. The one who told me the same as what I said to you died at age 12 from Leukemia. It’s funny how something so profound can come from someone so very young. Out of the mouths of babes, they say. However, her words are right. You are a rare gem, like when you arrive at school on your first day and you find that person who is willing to show you around and help you through. You are that person, Danielle. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished in life. I know I am proud of you and proud to call you a friend. It makes my heart happy to know you and to have met you.
Aw ~ thank you Taya 🙂 It’s truly my pleasure. I am so glad you are out of the regressive state. Keep going strong! Keep sharing your love!
It may interest you to know that my problem solving group with my Behavioral Consultant was introduced to the Solar Body Method and has asked me to demonstrate different Dahn Yoga exercises and teach them something new once a month. Not everyone can do everything but as much as I can teach them that they will be able to try, I will do so.
That’s amazing Taya!~ Congratulations 🙂
